Say Hello To Doc Gonk. This is my Star Wars Gonk Droid with a Doctor Emmett L Brown (Back To The Future) personality.
Doc Gonk Does the following:
Speaks the time on the hour and 1/2 hour in the voice of Doctor Emmett L Brown.
Foot LEDs (6) per foot and three back panel Neopixel rings sequence continuously.
On his front panel there is a small 1-inch OLED display to allow for displaying the time and other menus that are displayed when a specific position is selected on the front panel rotary switch.
He has a three position momentary rocker switch that is used to increase/decrease the hour, minute, month and year based on the position of the rotary switch.
He has a custom LED array that randomly makes LEDs (Neopixels) change between off, white and blue.
A MAX7219 led display shows the current time along with some other custom messages.
